Love Notes
I’ve been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for so long; not only for my husband, but for myself as well. I always came up with an excuse not to follow through with it. I’ve not been feeling myself lately, so I started with buying some lingerie (hughly recommend Amazon) and as soon as it came in, I searched for some photographers that people recommended on facebook and found Courtney!
The best part was that her studio was close to home for me AND her pictures were beautiful (which was my main excuse for not following through before)! Emailed her on Thursday and booked my session for the following day! She was very responsive and made me feel comfortable before even arriving.
Once there, I had my hair and makeup done which definitely helped ease the nerves; to sit there and chit chat and get pampered! Once the shoot started, Courtney made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! The nerves quickly faded and we had such a good time together! She’s definitely the hype girl you want behind the camera. Highly recommended stepping out of your comfort zone and doing this for yourself! You won’t regret it!

I did my boudoir shoot with Courtney a few days ago, and when I tell you I had such a good time, I mean it. I’m no skinny model, I would call myself a plus size girl, and my pictures are turning out AMAZING!! I showed her some poses that I would like to have done, and she incorporated them into our shoot and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. If I didn’t want to pose a certain way, it was okay and she would try something different. There was absolutely no judgment on how I look or anything, only positive encouragement.
I promise you, it gets easier as you go through the shoot because you start to feel more confident in yourself. It is very professional with the lighting she has, and she sends you a list beforehand as well, like what to do, and what not to do. 10/10 recommend!
You will not be disappointed. And, with her photo shoots, she has a hair/makeup artist that gets you ready beforehand. The makeup artist did such a great job and turned me into a model. So that is also a confidence boost too! - L.H.
Courtney was amazing from start to finish! She made me feel really comfortable and there was no judgement at all. She hyped me up the entire shoot, put on fun music, and talked me through everything. I'm a plus size girl and sometimes certain positions are harder for a plus size girl like myself to get into.
There was no judgement if I had to take a break. It was as if my best friend and I were hanging out and taking photos. It's hard for me to take "serious" photos, but she let me warm up and gave me pointers. She let me look at the photos on her camera during the shoot which gave me an added confidence! I love her studio. The backdrop she had was perfect for what look we were going for.
Courtney gave step by step forms once I had booked the shoot. It walked me through everything, so day of was a breeze and I knew what to expect! I highly suggest Courtney!!
